Dream Hotel Group: We’re seeing more demand than ever for our brands
“We’re seeing more demand than ever for our brands. That could be the result of the fact that we’re growing (and making a name for ourselves) outside of New York, but we’ve never been busier. We signed more hotel deals in the last 12 months than any other year in company history – and expect to sign another 30+ deals over the next five years, tripling our portfolio by 2022.
As the lifestyle hotel segment continues to grow, evolve and adapt – and not just in primary markets, but in secondary and tertiary markets too – more and more investors are getting onboard. It used to be that boutique hotels only worked in the big coastal cities like New York or Los Angles, but now the whole country, coast to coast and everything in between, is also moving toward this lifestyle. Many of these cities have been neglected in the lifestyle boom – and with no good reason behind it. We plan on capitalizing on that oversight.
Looking ahead, we’re going to remain aggressive – with a focus on major metropolitan cities and secondary markets across the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. By targeting emerging markets like Birmingham UK, where we recently signed a deal for our new Unscripted brand, allow us to function globally while investing locally.
We have 18 hotels open today and another 16+ in the pipeline worldwide, including Dream Nashville (set to open later this year!), Dream Dallas, Dream Palm Springs, Dream Doha, Dream New Delhi, Dream Belize, Dream Carabao Island [Philippines], Unscripted Austin, Unscripted Belize, Unscripted Tulum, Unscripted Birmingham Central Hall [UK], and The Chatwal Lodge in Bethel, NY, to name a few.
We’ve proven that we can go head-to-head with the great hotel chains in certain markets and do it as well as they do—if not better—and with a lower fee structure for owners. That is a very exciting option for owners”
